Tell me about any issues you have had with a previous boss or teacher. I do not have many issues with my boss or teacher because if we are disagreeing we work it out or find a compromise to make everyone agree. This way people can get back to work quickly and no one is upset. For example if the teacher or boss makes a deadline that is unreasonable you could ask for more time to get it done. Another example is if the boss or teacher does not tell you all the information that you need to know to get the job done you need to talk to them and get things straitened out. You can talk to the boss or teacher about trust issues and make them trust you more. Other issues might be with the people you are working with. If you do not get along you need to work it out between the two of you. If that does not solve the problem you need to go to your boss or teacher about your problems. Getting to know your classmates, workers, teachers, and bosses will help you get along and everyone will get to know each other. These are some issues you may have with your boss of your teacher.

What are some peoblems i have had with a boss or a teacher? They always think they are in control and know everything. I know a couple teachers and bosses who do that. Some teachers give way to much work and a quick deadline when it has to be done. Some teachers will give you longer time to work on it if you are working hard on your asingments. Their is a teacher that he or she does not give enought information about a assingment, then she or he gives it as homework. Nobody understands the assingment, so we ask him or her and she or he looks at us like we are stupid, and have not been paying attenetiin. Those are some problems i have had with previous boss or teachers.

Some teachers are new to the class and it is their first couple years teaching they do everything by the book. They don’t do anything fun. All they do is follow the rules and give a lot of homework. I know a teacher that is a very good person, but her class is always out of control, and she doesn’t even know that’s happening most of the time. That’s the problems I have had with teachers or bosses.

Issues I have with teachers and bosses are when the teachers don’t come till the last minuet and don’t help you with your homework even though they say they will. Some teachers don’t go through with every thing they say witch is very annoying. The only issue I have had with a boss is when they pay you in change and no a checks or cash. Some times you are so post to leave at a certain time and do get up. That’s all for the boss part. Some more issues with the teachers are when they yell at you for some thing you did not do and you get detention. Another one is when they leave right after school so you cant get any help. Some times they don’t give you any extra credit point even if you earned them. Some teachers don’t put things in the grade book for a week after the homework or test and quizzes. I have never have a teacher give me a bad grade because they don’t like me they are better than that. Another issue I have is when teachers switch tests and quizzes on you from to different days and give you a different test than the one that was scheduled

Steven - I think that you had a lot of great issues with your teachers. but Steven, the teachers might leave after school but you can always come in before school or at lunch. you don't have to complain because they leave right after school.

Steven- you did a good job on explaining your reasons. I agree with you that some teachers don't give you extra credit when you deserve it. Some teachers don't offer extra credit. Good job.

Cole- You had some good issues with teachers. I agree that they don't give you enough time to learn what they are teaching. Then they don't help you, and they think you are stupid. You also gave good detail, so i think you answered this very well.

Some issues i have with bosses and teachers are they never listen to me. They just explain or reexplain what i already know. some of my bosses and or teachers like to give out large amounts of work and a quick deadline to finish it by. When my bosses or teachers do this and you ask for more time they will normally allow you to have it. One of my teachers is extremely guilty of this and by doing so has dropped every ones grades down. Although, i don’t have he or she this semester i will have them again.

Blaine - Blaine, some teachers may not seem to be listening to you but they are. I know it seems like they are not, but they are trying to help you.

Kheighan- I read what you wrote about problems with bosses and teachers. You said a lot about how teachers think we are stupid and they do not want to help us. They might not help you if you do not ask for it. They would be more than willing to help you with your problem. You could have answered the dq better by doing something to solve the problem. This would also help reason with your teacher about homework and tests.

Cole- You have some good issues with teachers and bosses. But you never proved your point about the fact some teachers don't offer extra credit And you could be more direct about what you want to say.

Steven- I read your paragraph about problems with teachers and bosses. I agree with the part about sometimes they do not give you enough time on homework. I do not agree with they leave school early and you cannot go in after school and do homework. They might have something important to do or take care of. They cannot be there for us all the time. Also, to make your dq better you should have given examples on how to make the problem go away. This may help you and your teacher or boss solve problems faster.

“What are some problems I have had with a boss or teacher?” I personally do not have to many problems with my bosses or teachers because I work hard and try to get along with everyone not just that teacher. Another reason I usually do not have problems with a teacher is because I try my hardest to get along and make everyone happy so in that case I try to compromise. This is because if you are working upset or mad at someone then you don’t do as good as a job. Also you can waste a lot of time arguing over something very stupid. Another example why I try to compromise is because you can possibly get a fair deal like if a dead line is to short and then you tell them that not many people have got it done and that it was to short then most of the time they will extend the time. Also if they do not give you enough information to get the job done and you are confused you need to talk to them and not be afraid to ask questions. The problem I have most problems with is asking to many questions but really there is no limit of the amount of questions you can ask. Most of all getting along with everyone like classmates and other employees and other bosses or friends or teachers. Those are some common problems you have with a boss or teacher that you now know how to solve.

Jackson: You are right on not having to many questions. But, there is a limit. And you need to know when you hit that limit because after that, people might get irritated

“What are some problems I have had with a boss or teacher?” Some teachers give way too much work and a quick deadline when it has to be done (Mrs. Miller). There are teachers that he or she does not give enough information about an assignment, and then she or he gives it as homework. Some teachers don’t put things in the grade book for a week after the homework or test and quizzes. I have never had a teacher give me a bad grade because they don’t like me they are better than that. Another issue I have is when teachers switch tests and quizzes on you from to different days and give you a different test than the one that was scheduled. Tell me about any issues you have had with a previous boss or teacher. I do not have many issues with a boss or a teacher. If we disagree on something we can figure out a solution to solve it. For example if you can’t turn in a homework assignment you could ask for more time to get it done. But you should have it done. If a teacher tells you false information you could go and talk to her about the stuff that she told you. If a teacher uses words that you do not know, ask her what it means. If you don’t get stuff ask your teacher or boss what to do or what it means. If a teacher gives you a really short deadline to get an assignment in, go up and ask her if you could set the deadline a little bit longer so you actually can get it done within the deadline. These are some of the issues I have with previous bosses or teachers.

Jon- I think you are wrong I don’t think that Mrs. Miller gives us a quick deadline to turn stuff in. You are right, some of the teachers don’t give us enough information on like homework so it is kind of hard. I don’t think any teachers give bad grades because they don’t like someone

Cole- I agree that teachers don't teach everything that there supposed to in the hour and a half classes. I think that, not everything that they teach is as clear as it could be.

Savannah- I think that you would never have any issues with a boss or a teacher. I think it is important to work things out cause it might help all of the students. I think it will be hard sometimes to work with other people.

"What problems have I had with a previous teacher or boss?" I usually do not have problems with previous supervisors because I try to get along with everybody. If there is a conflict though, I try to solve it by finding a way to make everybody happy. Some problems I may have had though are things like us disagreeing on certain topics. I usually think that I am right and do not care for people to try and tell me I am wrong. So I may be a little hard to debate with but eventually something will work out. I have not really ever had an actual boss, but I have had people that I have had to listen to teachers. I do believe what people tell me but sometimes do not like how it is told to me. I like to have specific ways for things to happen. I may also argue on certain topics when I think I am right. But sometimes I am wrong. I admit that. But then again, when I am right, I enjoy that very much. I have never really had conflicts with previous teachers or bosses because I am usually easy to get along with.

Savannah: Your conflicts are quite common and you have good ways to solve them. You should try to let things work themselves out more than jumping right in and trying to fix it.

This is my fist job ergo I have not had any previous problems with a boss. Teachers are for the most part on my good side I like most of them. I am in good contact with most of my teachers such as my band teacher Mr. Marcus Pederson. I like Mr. Pederson he is a good teacher and a friendly person. There are also teachers that just want us to succeed one such teacher is Mrs. Evelyn McCord. Her way of doing so however is assigning either too many assignments or really long assignments with short due dates. An example of a teacher who does things a bit differently is Mrs. Amy Miller. She assigns a lot of assignments at the same time and gives the class a single due date for every one of them. This gives the students plenty of time to do the work as fast or as slow as they want and still have time to work on other things. Now obviously these are just examples of MY opinions, others may have different ideas of how teachers should teach. Now to clear things up and make sure I am not being rude Mrs. McCoard is very good at teaching and she gives us plenty of time to complete any assignments she gives I just don’t really look forward to going to her classes because I like knowing I have a little more time to do everything and do it thoroughly.
