The cover letter and resume are an employer's introduction to a prospective employee before they actually meet. This web site gives advice about writing cover letters and resumes. 1. The article I read was Cover Letter Writing Advice, Help Guides and Articles About Writing Cover Letters. When you write a cover letter you need to make sure you explain yourself in the letter so that they can understand what you are trying to apply for. Some main points are trying to tell people who you are and why you are applying for this job.

1. The article I read on a cover letter is Follow Up Letter Writing How to Write a Professional Letter to Follow Up Job Leads. This article was very interesting. A cover letter is the most common business letter. For an interview it is advisable to use a follow up letter to your cover letter. Doing this you will gain more attention from the employer.

A cover letter is formal introduction that provides a brief explanation of your job field, experiences and knowledge. You need to explain, yourself and the reason why you are applying for the job.

The article said to state your areas of knowledge and expertise, an explanation of your job field, and any extra expertise that involves the job you are applying for. 1)Writing a resume cover letter. Matt Alderton. He had some good points. He says that you should open the resume with a good opening sentence. You should have a paragraph that separates you from the other candidates. Research other sample resumes. A good resume starts with a great heading. You need to make it interesting. Tell them why you chose this job over any others in the field. Read as much about the company as you can. Tell them why you deserve this job more than the other person.

1. I read the article on “writing a resume cover letter.” It was written by Matt Alderton. The article said to tell things about yourself, good things usually. Make you more open to the job opportunity. You should say things that make you more likely to get that job. You should say why you think you would be better for the job than the other guys.

1. I read the cover letter article for “Thank You Letter Writing” by ResumeEdge. The author is making a really good point about how when you end a letter in a thank you, it can be taken more effectively from the viewer. Also that it mostly has to do with interviews or trying to get a company to buy what u want them to buy.

1. I read “Is Your Letter Fluff or Substance?” The author’s name is Debra Wheatman. Some of the points she made were, she says that cover letters are essential and that some people don’t use them and that’s why some people don’t make it.

Kheigan- Yes I think spell check is a mistake and it is a mistake worth fixing but I think most employers would understand a typo maybe grammar would be a better issue if a resume wasn’t just a list of your past accomplishments.

1. I read reading a cover letter advice free cover letter written by professionals.A resume is what tells about your work experiences and work accomplishments. You are not gonna get the job if you do not have a resume because they don't know if you finished high school or college or any work experiences you have so having a resume is really important. It is highly recommended to bring a resume. Some mistakes people make when making a resume is not having work experiences or diploma stuff like that.

The article that I read on cover letters is “what counts in a cover letter.” It is by Heather Eagar. Some of the things that it emphasizes are to use good grammar. Like improper usage or misspelled words can say a lot in your cover letter. The article says to avoid fluff meaning get straight to your point. The last point that it makes is that you need to be honest and clear in your intentions. They mean is that you need to be clear with what you write down. So when writing a cover letter you need to be clear direct and honest.
