Think about the three Microsoft programs that we have learn about and answer
these questions in 100-150 words: 1. What is the program do you use the most and what for? 2. Which program did you learn the most about? Why? 3. For each program what is the most interesting thing you learned? When do you think you will use that again? 4. Are you going to retake the tests that you didn’t pass? Why or Why not? Then respond to two other students about the coolest thing you seen them do with one of the three programs.

The program that I use the most is Microsoft Word because I use it for school work and or to print out pictures for a poster. You use Word almost every day because you have to print out a worksheet and then make copies for students. You can also share your work with other people who want to see it and then they can print it out if they need to use it. I also use Microsoft PowerPoint because we need to use them for presentations and other activities. The program that I learned about the most is Microsoft Excel because I never really knew what it was for until I started using it. I learned that Excel is used like for accounting and like to keep track of people that work in one place. It is also used to keep track of how much money you have been earning in time to time. I learned that Word is used to type up a report or letter. I learned that PowerPoint is for making presentations for school or a job. I learned that Excel is used to keep track of money or employees earnings. I think that you will use these when you start working for market sales or an enterprise. I don’t think that I will retake the tests that I didn’t pass because they might just be half credit or a zero.

The program that I use the most from Microsoft right now is probably PowerPoint because we do a lot of presentations in our classes, such as Physical Science. In Science we do presentations at the end of each chapter that we learn and also on the labs that we do so I have frequently been using PowerPoint. The Microsoft program that I learned the most about is Microsoft Word because a lot of the things that I learned in Word tie to PowerPoint and Excel. The most interesting thing that I have learned in Microsoft Word would have to be how to record a Macro. I would probably use it a lot in creating essays in English in the near future. The most interesting thing that I learned in PowerPoint would be all of the commands that apply to transitions and animations. I could use these a lot in presentations that could tend to not be a very interesting topic and the commands could spice the presentation up a bit. The most interesting and beneficial thing that I have learned in Excel so far was auto filling. This could help a lot in things such as financing in the future.

Teagan the most interesting thing that you have done for PowerPoint is when you had to create a PowerPoint on the thing you loved. And the way you presented it was just a great job.

I think the coolest thing that Iv'e seen you do is when you made the music stop at the end of your tribute Power Point. Because nobody else stopped it except you.

The coolest one was in PowerPoint when you did your Tribute, I really liked how you chose a song from George S. when you were doing your PowerPoint on him.

The program that I use most is Microsoft PowerPoint. This is because I use this for presenting things such as pictures and facts for the subject that we must do. Then there’s the part in which things are easier to use in PowerPoint for talking about something and it takes less time to make a PowerPoint presentation than a Word document. Plus, it is the only one that I am certified in for Microsoft certificates. It is the one that I have the best grasp on that than the other Microsoft programs. And it is the one that is the easiest one to use for all around work.

I think one of the coolest things you have done with one of the programs is when you created your tribute PowerPoint because you put a lot of work into it and I learned a lot about your topic. The music you played related to your topic and you stopped it on time and I thought it was really good.

I probably use Microsoft word the most because I don’t realty deal with numbers or I don’t present stuff so I mostly use word. I learned the most about excel because I haven’t used that very much at all and now I can do a lot more things than I thought you could. I think the most interesting thing is in excel and that is when you can make it look like a word document by taking away the grid lines and cell markers. I think I’ll use this again If I was in a job that would deal with lots of numbers and I would use that to make it look more formal. Yes I will probably retake the excel test if I fail it because I want to be able get my certification for excel. I want that because it looks better on an application.

The program I use the most is Microsoft word the most because I use it every week for DQ’s and for responses in English. In English we read short stories and every time we read one we do a response. The program that learned the most about so far is Excel. I learned a lot of formulas and a lot of ways to do things faster. The most interesting thing that I learned in word is how to use a Macro. I will use these when I have to write a paper for a class. The most interesting thing I used in PowerPoint is how to use animations. I already knew how to use some animations, but I learned about how to use the motion ones which was very cool. I will use these in future presentations. The most interesting thing I have learned in excel are the formulas. The formulas make everything faster and I will use these when I am working in excel to speed things up. I have passed all my tests so far so I don’t need to retake any.

Alyssa, I have to disagree. I see the way that you flew through the Excel Book. You had like all the chapters done before their due. THEY AREN’T EVEN DUE YET. But I believe that the most interesting thing I have seen you done is teaching on the excel reviews. You are a complete natural at it. Good job.

1. I think the program that I use the most would be Microsoft Word 2013. I use this every day in Digitools and almost every day in English. When I’m using Microsoft Word 2013 I don’t have to think about anything I just do it naturally because I’ve been using it my whole life.
Tanner

Anna I think that the coolest thing I have seen you do with word would be creating a resume. I know it sounds kind of cheesy but that's the only thing I have seen you do with one of the three workbooks. I have also learned new shortcuts in word and excel from you.

The program I use the most is Word 2013, I use word 2013 the most because we have to have it for all of the workbooks we do and we need it for the key terms and the vocab. The program I learned the most about would have to be power point because I passed that final test with over an 800. The most interesting thing I learned would have to be in excel because in excel there are a whole bunch of things you have probably not heard of that you learn about everyday. The weirdest thing I have learned in excel would be how to insert a pie chart and how to insert all of the formulas. I think that I will use it on the final test again. I don't think that I will retake the tests I haven't passed because in 2nd semester of school you get a whole bunch of work thrown at you and you have more and more things to do every night.

I use word the most. I use it for lots of school work it is a great way to make things look nice and organized. Especially because I have poor had writing so if I can type it I can make it look better. I have learned the most about excel I haven’t had a lot of experience with it so it was very helpful to learn more about it and now I could use it more often. In word it thought it was very interesting how many different things you could do I learned how to put backgrounds on to pages and lots of interesting stuff. In PowerPoint in learned things like how to get more animations and transitions. The most interesting thing that I have learned in excel is how to do formulas and equations it makes it so much easier to calculate things rather than having to get out a calculator or something to do it. Yes because I want my grade to be as good as I can and if I pass it them all of my assignments will go to A's so it will be better.

I think that I use Microsoft Word the most. I use it for many different kinds of things such as doing assignments for English, making fliers, I also use Word for better handwriting. Sometimes my hand writing is kind of sloppy. Also If I want something to look professional. The program that I learn the most on is Excel. This is the program that I use the least. Right now in Digitools we are working on the Excel Unit. I have learned dozens of different things on it such as printing, using formulas, inserting captions and many more. For Microsoft Word the most interesting thing that I have learned is how to format the text or picture. I think that making something a different font, changing it to a different style, different color, and giving it effects is fun and interesting. The next time that I use it will be very soon. Probably this school year. The most interesting thing that I have learned about in PowerPoint is animations and transitions. There are many different types of animations and transitions. I think that is what makes it fun is picking and choosing which one you want. I think the next time I use this will be the next time I use PowerPoint. I always do fun and crazy animations and transitions when I use it. In Excel there really isn't anything interesting. The one thing that I find pretty cool is that you can enter a really long formula or math problem, and it calculates it for you! The next time I use this will be tomorrow in Digitools. For the last question, of course I am going to retake the tests that I didn't pass. Doing this will not only get me a better grade, it will also help me understand it better.

The program I use most would have to be Word. I use it for class essays and I also use it for the DQ’s. I learned most about Excel, even though I haven’t quite finished it I have learned a lot about it, such as, all the functions and the things you can do with Excel specially if it is handy for your work when you get older. For Word I think the most interesting thing would be converting the tables into text and vice versa. I think I will use that at some point in my life for a job maybe. In PowerPoint the most interesting thing was uploading music to it and having it end when the presentation is over and not just have it cut out. I will use this probably for many more years for class presentations. For Excel it would have to be all the formulas, I will use this in some of my classes and probably work, it is very helpful with calculations. The tests that we have taken so far I have passed all of them, but if I am to not pass Excel which is our last one, I will definitely retake it. It really helps with your grade and it will also help make sure I really know how to work Excel.

Sydney, the coolest thing that I have seen you do with these programs are all of your PowerPoints. They always look very clean, run smoothly, and keep you interested. Also the one you did on basketball in this class, it look really good, and all of your PowerPoints are really cool.

The program I use the most is probably PowerPoint because I have to use for Science when we do labs. We have to create a PowerPoint on the information we received and present to the class. The program I have learned most about would probably Excel because I didn’t know anything about it really because I hadn’t used it. The most interesting thing I learned from Microsoft Word would be recording a macro because when I have to record myself reading an essay or project I can use that. The most interesting thing I have learned in PowerPoint is how to put timings on transitions and the use of animations. The most interesting thing I have learned in Excel is learning to use all the formulas because I might need to use those in a job sometime in the future. They help make things easier. If I end up not passing a test, I will for sure take it again as many times as I can because it will help my grade a bunch and help me understand the information.

The program I use most would have to be Microsoft Word, for lots of school work and papers. The program I learned the most about would be PowerPoint, since before I learned about it, I barely used it for anything and they were not very good. The most interesting thing I learned in Word would be all the formats they have like letters and resumes. Sometime in school I think that I will use those again. In PowerPoint, it would be animations and timings. I think I will use that later in school. Finally, for Excel, the interesting thing I learned was how to use the formulas. I will use this in my lawn mowing business to keep things organized. So far, I have passed all my tests, but if I do fail, I would retake them since they will make me look better when applying for a job.

The program I use the most is Microsoft Word. I use this a lot for writing essays and reports for school assignments. I learned the most about PowerPoint because before we started I didn't really know how to make animations, edit themes, how to edit animation durations and delays, etc. The most interesting thing I learned in Word was probably how to make a hyperlink. The most interesting thing I learned in PowerPoint was how to edit the settings on animations. The most interesting thing I have learned in Excel so far is how to use flash fill. I have passed all of my certification tests therefore I don't find it necessary to retake any.

The program that I have used the most is PowerPoint. I have used it multiple times out of class for other school work and to just improve my tech skills. I have learned about excel the most. Before this class I barely knew anything on excel but now I feel I am a regular at it because I can do basic things on it and other stuff such as conditional formatting and filters. The most interesting thing I have learned on word is the styling you can apply on documents, on PowerPoint I would say is inserting audio to a slide show, and for excel so far I think it’s the formatting a table to be a percentage of a size. I think these are interesting because I see them as very useful. I use them all the time. I don’t think I will retake the tests I do not pass because of the fact that some of the information on them I believe I will not use often.

I use powerpoint the most. The reason I use powerpoint so much is because I have to make presentations almost every week and have it done by Friday. Then present it to the class. I learned the most using excel because I never really had a purpose to use it before. Also I only used it in this class if i ever did need it. The most interesting thing that I learned from them was how easy and it can be if you know how to use it right. I will most likely be using powerpoint and word sooner then later with all the assignments I have to have done before school is out. Yes I will be retaking the tests i failed because I need to pass this class so I will not have to come back next year.

Usually I use Word 2013 the most but since we're doing the chapters for Excel 2013 i use that the most. I Learned about Excel the most because there is so many things you can do on it compared to word or power point. The most interesting thing that I learned about Word would have to be the Arrange all command. The most interesting thing about power point would have to be the setting so that you can have something move across the screen on a designated path. And the most interesting thing that I learned about excel would have to be making formulas. And I haven't failed any of the tests yet (except for the practice ones) but if I did fail, or will fail on the excel, i would retake them. I would retake them so that I can have a better grade.
