Instead of completing mock interviews for the class the remaining DQ's will require you to post answers to sample interview questions. I expect answers to be answered as if you were in an interview setting and be written using proper English and using 200-300 words.
Here is a web site that will give you some advice on answering questions. How to Answer Tricky Questions Answer the following interview question and then comment on (one) 1 other student's posts by giving them advice on a better way to answer the question, using the knowledge gained by reading the article above. "What is your greatest strength, and one of your weaknesses?" If you were the boss what would you do if one of your employees uses bad grammar that is reflecting poorly on your department's performance, how can you get a handle on this problem? What if employees keep saying they never know what is going on at work, what steps would you take to increase workplace communication? Also discuss the importance of good communication in the workplace. Give examples of good communication and bad communication you have observed. What effect did they have on the situation? Why is eye contact important? Is it appropriate to send a thank-you note or invitation via e-mail? Why or why not? Share a common form of body language that is often misinterpreted.
Answer each of the questions above. Then pick ONE other student to respond to and reflect on EACH of their answers stating if you agree or disagree with a reason why - I will not take "you gave a good answer, I agree" I want thought and intelligent responses. Your initial post should be 200 words and you response should be 100 words. That is the minimum and not the maximum, and DO NOT put word counts on the responses. |
