Lecture on Clip Art, Smart Art, References, Screen Shots
We will be completing a question of the day each day after a lecture - you can complete after class or the beginning of the next day. Here is the requirements for your post:
1. Give (1) one thing you learned in yesterday's lecture
2. Give (1) one thing you still need clarification on from yesterday's lecture.
3. Give (1) one thing you wish we would have talked more about in yesterday's lecture.
4. Give (1) one question you have from yesterday's lecture or assignment that was given.
I will respond to your questions and help with clarifications, but you can also respond to each other to help with questions. If you respond to another student - remember to use proper blog etiquette. Also remember to respond specifically to the student by clicking comment on their comment.
Professional organizations (and likewise student organizations) are invaluable for people with similar careers and interests. Investigate at least one professional organization on the first
web site. Then investigate a web site from the list of student organizations. (Your teacher may provide you with additional sites of student organizations.)
Then answer the questions.
What is the value of belonging to a professional organization? Is the reason for joining similar to the value of becoming a member in a student organization?
Why or why not? Site specific examples in your answer.
What are some of the services provided by both student and professional organizations? What specific professional
development opportunities are available?
Initial response ALWAYS 150 - 200 words and the reply to other students needs to be meaningful and substantial.
Suggested keywords: professional organizations, professional societies, student organizations, career technical student organizations

There will not be a Discussion Question this week, but this will be an open blog for students to ask questions about the work they are completing in class to get help as needed.
On September 11 we should take a moment to reflect on a major United States tragedy, for some this will be a day they lost everything and for others a day they realized everything. All though you were to young to remember this was a day that needs to be remembered and taught about in the history of
In the blog for this week I want you to reflect on what you know about that day and what your parents remember about that
Then reflect on what the day has done for the USA and your family, have things changed from 2001 to 2014? Are we better off or have our lives been changed for the worse?
Finally, reflect on what you think about this day and its personal significances to you or others.
I want honesty but respect for others feelings as well. Your initial
response should be 200 words.
I am not requiring a peer response this week, but if you read another students post and feel there is something you
want to post in a reflection for that student you can earn extra credit points for your reflections.
Mrs. Miller will use the blog to help students ask questions, remember what we did in class and just a place to discuss class topics.
